Florida’s Historic Capitol building didn’t always look like it does now in Tallahassee, and it wasn’t too long ago when it was threatened to exist only in history books. A “Save the Capitol” Campaign sparked a movement that included a party, a folk song and a little political drama. What led to the restoration of Florida’s Historic Capitol and its importance as a Museum are included in this second segment of our two-part series.
