4/7/21 Florida Supreme Court Oral Arguments: Reggie Eugene Allen v. State of Florida SC20-1053

Allen was found guilty of sexual battery and lewd or lascivious exhibition on a minor. Allen appealed his conviction, arguing that the trial court erred by not instructing the jury on a necessarily lesser included offense on one count of capital sexual battery. The First District Court of Appeal affirmed the trial court, found no error, and certified a question of great public importance to this Court for review.
