06/29/2020 Florida Crossroads – Tour of Lights: The Atlantic Region

In the 1800s, there were only 24 lighthouses and lightship stations in the United States, but that number grew to roughly 850 by the 1900s. In fact, Florida’s maritime growth resulted in lighthouses eventually stationed every 60 miles along the shoreline. In this segment of Florida Crossroads, we take viewers on a Tour of Lights along Florida’s Atlantic Coast.
