Ask Floridians where they are from and usually “Florida” is not the answer. Some might say North, Central, or South Florida. Or maybe name a town like Miami or Jacksonville. On the surface, it may seem like a slight difference, but underneath there’s a bigger story. For every difference found region to region in the Sunshine State, there is usually a similarity. Florida Crossroads producer Deirdre Kaniewski explains how Florida’s diversity makes it a place of many states.
