Reading is a skill that must be taught, and for many children, it is a difficult skill to grasp. Research has shown that children learn to read through a variety of techniques. In this episode of Florida Crossroads, we’ll give tips to help our children read, look at the “Just Read Florida!” program and examine efforts made by a number of PBS Ready To Learn stations to become community partners with local pre-schools and elementary schools.
