Supreme Court Briefs – Florida Supreme Court Hears Arguments in Slip-and-Fall Lawsuit Against Publix that Trial Court Dismissed

The Florida Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a slip-and-fall case, in which a woman sued Publix after falling in a store. The trial court, appeals court and even the woman’s lawyer admitted that she lied repeatedly in court about her injuries. Justices must decide if Publix could still be on the hook for her medical bills even though the trial court threw out the entire case.
