Capitol Update – Week Ending 01/07/2011

Rick Scott is sworn in as Florida’s 45th governor and immediately gets to work on making state government accountable. Inauguration Day was also a day to usher in new cabinet members and the beginning of an entirely new administration for the state of Florida. Immigration and oil spill relief are just two of the items on lawmaker’s agenda as they return to Tallahassee for the first full week of committee hearings.
