On the Ballot – 2018 Proposed Constitutional Amendment 8

Amendment eight is a trio of education related issues and has been removed from the November 2018 ballot. The Florida Supreme Court, in a 4-3 vote, upheld a lower court’s decision that the ballot language misled voters by not clearly stating its true purpose and never mentioning charter schools by name.
