Off the Beaten Path – Wiggins Store

The Manatee Historical Village Park in Bradenton is home to the Wiggins Store, a preserved general store from 1903 that was opened by King Winton Wiggins. The Wiggins Store helps tell the story of the pioneer period of Manatee County through displaying the goods and services residents would use at the time. Along with the rest of the buildings of Manatee Village, the store also shows how it functions as a social gathering space for the community,
