It’s a Law: HB 999 – Legal Tender

Governor Ron DeSantis signed House Bill 999 at a press conference in Apopka. The bill acknowledges gold and silver coins as legal tender in the state of Florida. The bill also allows for government entities to accept gold and silver coins as payment. The law is effective upon its signature.
