It’s a Law: HB 907 – Florida Institute for Pediatric Rare Diseases

The Sunshine Genetics Act gives parents the option to have their newborn babies screened for rare genetic disorders. The new law also creates a consortium of five universities to research treatments for these conditions. The bill became effective as of July 1st, 2025.
