Historical Markers on Dade and His Command Monuments

The St. Augustine National Cemetery is Florida’s oldest national military cemetery. Major Francis Langhorne Dade and his command, who fell in battle during the Seminole Wars, are laid to rest here under three coquina stone pyramids.
