The Indian River Lagoon Treasure Coast Scenic Highway includes two iconic roadways, US1 and A1A, and is about 42 miles in length. The highway features one of the most biodiverse estuaries in North America as well a multitude of historical and recreational sites along the mainland and the barrier islands. Some highlights to be seen include an Ais Indian burial ground at Old Fort Park, agricultural history at Savannas Preserve State Park, along with World War II History at Fort Pierce Inlet State Park and the National Navy UDT-Seal Museum.
