Watch: Florida Portrait on Save Student Newsrooms

An online campaign to raise awareness about the financial struggle of student run newspapers held its “Day of Action” on April 25th. The campaign was started by editors at the Independent Florida Alligator, which covers the University of Florida. While these newspapers are fighting to survive, UF Digital Collections announced it will digitize all archived issues of its local student newspaper.
