Florida Portrait – Fort Mose Groundbreaking

Fort Mose State Park is dedicated to the Spanish fort, Gracia Real de Santa Teresa de Mose, which gained notoriety as a sanctuary for formerly enslaved people in the American colonies. On January 19th, 2024, the park held a groundbreaking for their newest project, a replica of the fort, complete with historical reenactments.
