Florida Lights – Cedar Key Lighthouse

Located just south of the Nature Coast’s remote town of Cedar Key, Seahorse Key served as an important landmark for the second Seminole War and was a navigational aid for both commerce and travel. The lighthouse was built swiftly, but was decommissioned only a few years later.
