• The life of former Florida Supreme Court Justice R. Fred Lewis was honored at a memorial ceremony following his death on May 26. 
• Candidates from around the state came to Tallahassee to submit their qualifying paperwork.
• The Florida Supreme Court rejected a temporary injunction request for the state’s new congressional map.
