Capitol Update – Week Ending 04/10/2026

Capitol Update is a review of state government.  Topics this week focus on:

• After thirty years of environmental reclamation, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission cut the ribbon on the Florida Fishing Trail.
• Governor DeSantis signed a bill that would allow the Governor and Cabinet to label groups as domestic terrorist organizations in Florida.
• The Elections Canvassing Commission confirmed the results of four special elections that took place on March 24.
