Capitol Update – Week Ending 03/27/2026

Capitol Update is a review of state government.  Topics this week focus on:

• A bill that would have restored the flow of the Ocklawaha River died in the Senate after passing all of its committee stops.
• The Legislature unanimously passed a bill that would provide bridge funding for the state’s AIDS Drug Assistance Program.
• The House and Senate passed a bill that would enact new guardrails on the construction of data centers.
