Capitol Update – Week Ending 09/26/2025

Capitol Update is a review of state government.  Topics this week include:        

• The Attorney General launched a web portal where people can report social media posts or anything else they observe that they believe is a threat of violence. 
• A House committee met for two days to explore the impact of potential property tax changes.
• The State Board of Education approved new rules for how charter Schools of Hope can access space and services in traditional public schools.
