Capitol Update – Week Ending 06/23/2023

Capitol Update is a weekly review of state government. This week’s topics include:

• The Governor signed more bills into law including one that creates a sickle cell disease registry and another that expands eligibility for KidCare.
• The University System Board of Governors named Florida International University #1 in the state, based on graduation rates, student retention, costs and more.
• Visitors are welcome once again to visit the House Chamber in person and get a tour of the murals representing Florida history and culture.
