Capitol Update – Week Ending 10/30/2020

Capitol Update is a weekly review of state government.  Topics this week include:

• Presidential rallies, voter registration hacking, signature local canvassing board transparency, and an amendment lawsuit – we have team coverage on the 2020 general election in the week leading up to Election Day.
• While standardized exams are finally taking place after months of uncertainty, students are worried their scores won’t be accepted at a Florida public university or will qualify them for state scholarships.
• State officials are teaming up with truck drivers to help fight human trafficking.
