  • Governor Ron DeSantis announced “phase one” of his plan to reopen Florida’s economy after the COVID-19 shut-down.
  • Problems persisted with the unemployment system, with some people finally receiving payments but more than 268,000 turned down.
  • The federal trial commenced in a case challenging the constitutionality of the bill passed by the Legislature implementing Amendment 4, which restores voting rights to felons who’ve completed sentence.
