Capitol Update – Week Ending 01/10/2020

Capitol Update is a weekly review of state government.  Topics this week include:

• The Florida Supreme Court ruled that the proposed Energy Choice constitutional amendment cannot appear on the November ballot, saying the ballot summary is misleading.
• Governor Ron DeSantis announced formation of a statewide committee to work on the 2020 Census count.
• The Governor also announced improvements in high school graduation rates.
