Capitol Update is a weekly review of state government. Topics this week include:

• Hurricane season begins with a sales tax holiday for supplies, but no disaster relief package from Congress for Hurricane Michael recovery.
• Governor Ron DeSantis and other state leaders headed a delegation of Floridians on an economic development visit to Israel.
• A Special Master appointed by the Senate heard testimony from former Okaloosa School Superintendent Mary Beth Jackson who’s trying to get her job back after the Governor removed her from office.
