Capitol Update – Week Ending 10/12/2018

Capitol Update is a weekly review of state government.  Topics this week focused on Hurricane Michael, including:

• Governor Rick Scott surveyed the hardest hit areas along Florida’s Gulf Coast by air.
• A look at state and federal response to devastation in Mexico Beach, Port St. Joe, Apalachicola, and smaller communities farther inland.
• Updates on power outages across the state, and damage and outages in the capital from the storm.
