Capitol Update – Week Ending 05/04/2018

Capitol Update is a weekly review of state government. Topics this week include:

• Florida’s newest university – Florida Polytechnic – celebrated the graduation of its first 4-year class.
• The Public Service Commission held a 2-day workshop to review hundreds of reports and comments on power restoration after Hurricane Irma.
• Law enforcement officers and families came to the Capitol from around the state to honor their comrades who died in the line of duty.
