Capitol Update is daily review of state government during the Legislative Session. Today’s topics include:

• The House passed a bill designed to crack down on social media companies that deplatform or censor political candidates.
• A charter school bill ping-ponged between the House and Senate several times, with efforts to amend it to include provisions from other bills – including a bill imposing term limits on local school board members and another that bans transgender students from playing on girls’ teams.
• The Senate Democratic Caucus erupted in turmoil, resulting in the resignation of Senator Gary Farmer as Minority Leader.
