  • The full House amended a school safety bill to prohibit the arrest of children under 10, after the arrest of a 6 year old girl in Orlando.
  • The Senate took up a bill that would explore ways to introduce into schools and museums the history of the 1920 Ocoee riots – when dozens of African-Americans were killed after they tried to vote.
