Capitol Update is daily review of state government during the Legislative Session. Today’s topics include:
- The full Senate approved the bill requiring parental consent before a minor can have an abortion, sending it to the House which approved similar legislation last year.
- A House committee approved a bill that would make it more difficult for constitutional amendments generated by citizen initiatives to make the ballot.
- A House committee approved a bill that opens the door to college athletes being allowed to make money from endorsements.
