• A Senate committee approved a sweeping criminal justice reform package that includes a provision that would let more inmates get out of prison sooner.
• A bill that would raise the legal age for smoking and vaping is heading to the full House.
• A Senate committee approved a relief package for Hurricane Michael victims, but removed the $315 million appropriation.
