• House and Senate Appropriations Committees prepared their budgets for the full House and Senate.
• The Senate approved several bills including one that would increase criminal penalties for injuring or killing police and fire rescue dogs and police horses.
• The House approved a bill that would allow patients to make direct health care agreements with doctors.
