Capitol Update Extended – Update on Water Management Projects

Senate President Wilton Simpson said he wants to abandon the EAA Reservoir project south of Lake Okeechobee, as the South Florida Water Management District moves forward with the project.  The St. Johns River Water Management District Board put a temporary hold on approving septic-to-sewer projects while they investigate ways to get more property owners to hook up.
