Capitol Update Extended – Scott Israel Senate Hearing

In January, Governor Ron DeSantis suspended Broward Sheriff Scott Israel from his post saying that the sheriff “neglected his duty” and was “incompetent.” Israel appealed to the Senate, who can overturn the decision, and took the stand in June.
