Capitol Update Extended – Industrial Hemp Pilot Project

University of Florida researchers are growing hemp, a type of cannabis plant, as part of a two-year pilot project.  They hope results will yield the kind of information that will help farmers produce a crop which can be used to make everything from medicines to clothing to building materials.
