9/11/15 Department of Children & Families Child Protection Summit Breakout Session: Baker Act and Marchman Act
This meeting experiences audio difficulties.
In this workshop, participants will learn criteria for both the Baker Act and Marchman Act in the state of Florida. We will also discuss the voluntary admission process. We will also review client rights, informed consent, exclusionary criteria, and the court process. We will provide information on local receiving facilities. We will also review the Florida Baker Act and Marchman Act forms. Lastly, we will briefly discuss the role that law enforcement can play in these admissions.
