9/3/24 Capitol Update Extended – State Parks Whistleblower Fired

James Gaddis, a former employee at the Department of Environmental Protection, said he was fired on August 30th for revealing DEP plans to build golf courses, hotels and other facilities in nine state parks. DEP called off those plans for now after protest rallies around the state.
