9/22/25 Capitol Update Extended – FWC Announces Winner of the 2025 Lionfish Challenge

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission announced the winner of its tenth-annual lionfish challenge. The challenge was created to try and remove the invasive lionfish from Florida’s aquatic ecosystems.
