9/2/21 Florida Supreme Court Oral Arguments: In Re: Amendments to Rule 4-13.4 of the Rules of the Supreme Court Relating to Admissions to the Bar SC21-187
On its own motion, this Court published for comment proposed amendments to Rule of the Supreme Court Relating to Admissions to the Bar 4-13.4 (Alternative Method of Educational Qualification). The proposed amendments would adjust the requirements for international lawyers to take the Bar exam by reducing the number of required years of practice in the U.S. for foreign-educated applicants from ten to seven and adding a new pathway for foreign-educated applicants with an LL.M. The Court received two comments on its proposal.
