8/4/26 Capitol Update Extended: Early Voting Kicks Off in Several Counties

Early voting started in ten counties on August 3 including in a panhandle county where the supervisor said she hoped to increase voter turnout in the “off-year” primary. Many other counties were expected to open the polls August 8.
