8/28/24 Capitol Update Extended – Old 25 Acre Fish Farm to Become Wetlands Near Tampa

Two hundred thirty-five abandoned ponds from a fish farm along Hillsborough Bay are set to be transformed into wetlands after getting approval from the Southwest Florida Water Management District Board. The 25 acre parcel of land has been abandoned since the late 1970s.
