8/25/25 Capitol Update Extended – University of Florida Appoints Interim President

The University of Florida Board of Trustees has selected Dr. Donald Landry, a professor and former Department of Medicine Chair at Columbia University, as its new interim president. Landry will start September 1, but must also get approval from the state’s Board of Governors.
