8/24/26 Capitol Update Extended: Governor DeSantis Announces New Restrictions to State Financial Assistance Programs

Governor DeSantis announced that the state would be implementing new regulations for what can be purchased through Florida’s Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program. Though the funds are distributed by the federal government, the grant money is managed by the state’s Department of Children and Families.
