8/21/25 Capitol Update Extended – State Awards Millions for Infrastructure Improvements in Rural Florida

Governor Ron DeSantis and Senate President Ben Albritton announced millions of dollars in grants for rural towns and counties around the state. The Florida Department of Commerce administers the Small Cities Community Development Block Grants Program using federal dollars for infrastructure, housing rehabilitation and economic revitalization.
