8/21/25 Capitol Update Extended – “FL-COCO” Emergency Operations Center Opens in Auburndale

Florida’s emergency management director helped cut the ribbon on a new operations center in Central Florida. The giant warehouse stores tons of supplies and equipment and has capacity for 300 staff to manage disaster preparations and recovery.
