8/14/25 Governor’s Press Conference

On August 14th, Governor Ron DeSantis held a press conference in Sanderson at Baker Correctional Institution where he plans on opening an immigration detention facility. He was joined by Lt. Gov. Jay Collins, Director of Emergency Management Kevin Guthrie, Executive Director of the Florida Board of Immigration Enforcement Larry Keefe, and Adjutant General of Florida Major General John D.
