8/13/25 Attorney General’s Press Conference on 7-OH

On August 13th, Attorney General James Uthmeier held a press conference at Tampa General Hospital on the rescheduling of products containing highly concentrated 7-Hydroxymitragynine, also referred to as “7-OH.” The Attorney General was joined by U.S Commissioner of Food and Drugs Dr. Marty Makary, Agriculture Commissioner Wilton Simpson, State Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo, and several additional members of the medical community.
