8/13/24 Capitol Update Extended – Water Management District Celebrates Lake Apopka Restoration Progress

The St. Johns River Water Management District extended a project to replace hydrilla plants in Lake Apopka with native aquatic vegetation. They also praised decades of effort to restore the lake, damaged by agricultural runoff and a chemical Superfund site nearby.
