8/12/24 Capitol Update Extended – Five Applicants to be Interviewed for PSC Seat
The Public Service Commission Nominating Council decided to interview all five people who applied for an upcoming vacancy on the Public Service Commission, the agency that regulates utilities in Florida. After the interviews, the Council must recommend at least three for the Governor to choose from. Applicants include the current PSC Chairman, a retired college professor, a former staffer for the New York Senate, a county administrator in Alabama, and an attorney with the Department of Agriculture.
