8/1/25 Capitol Update Extended – Hometown Heroes Program to Begin Accepting Applications

The Florida Housing Finance Corporation will begin accepting applications for loans through the Hometown Heroes program on August 18th. Lawmakers put $50 Million into the program and changed the requirements for eligibility.
